I attended Clover Park Voc Tech School for two years after serving in the Air Force. I recieved my Airframe and Powerplant Aircraft Mechanics License in 1976. I went to work in Alaska for an Air Taxi Service as a Mechanic, later becoming a Bush Pilot. I returned to Washington in the 1980's and went to work as a logger. I logged until a logging accident broke my back and paralyzed me from the chest down in 1992. After Rehab I started an Amusement Vending Business in Port Angeles until 2006. My wife and I bought 160 acres over here in Eastern Wash. We built a home on it, manage our timber and Black Angus Beef Cattle. The warmer, drier weather here helps my back pain, and is a beautiful place to live. The winters are cold and snowy, but we have a good woodstove and plenty of firewood. I lost my wife Debbie to cancer June 2, 2013. I'm still living on my ranch and working it to the best of my ability.
