I am likely going to wear slacks and blouse, as that is more comfortable. I do NOT plan to wear an old prom dress (even if I still had them). After tomorrow night’s committee meeting, I’ll post another section of information on menu, program schedule, etc.

I think Mark Hoppen is wearing an old prom dress.

Well, maybe Jeff Rothweiler... James already came up with an image - not in the dress, though:

Anita,
This is an interesting looking woman, I do say.
If you and James will extend the transformation, I believe she will cheerfully come to the reunion dressed in a fashion similar to Greg Thoreson's granddaughter (see Greg's profile).
Otherwise, for the twofold relief of all, I suggest the locks serve as complement to an old prom dress and, as cover, top Mark's head. What do you say Phil, is Mark in a prom dress enough or would you like him to have hair as well?
Jeff

I tried on dresses for my husband we decided on the red dress. He thought if I did a Keg stand I could wrap it around myself better. I told him Keg Stands are for the college parties. 69 grads like to gator. PJ

I have never heard of a keg stand. Sounds more strenuous than the gator. Do you have any pictures?

How many of us can still get up off of the floor after attempting the gator?

I think Penny will be willing to help anyone who cannot get up after gatoring.

Since I have had a knee replacement, I will need all the help I can getting off the floor, but I do not plan on gatoring. That would not be pretty!!!!

I'm not sure what a keg stand is either. Would koolotts work for that?

Wow, 40 years…where did it go? I remember standing in line under the sidewalk canopy (in our cap and gowns) waiting to walk to graduation. A couple of guys got yanked for drinking…if I remember correctly.
I have told people about that for years because it was so cool that everyone got upset that they would miss the walk and they had family out there. Everyone agreed that if they did not get to walk not one would. The facility backed down.

Hey everyone,
I had a great time tonight. Thanks for inviting me and for all the compliments and great food and drink. It was really a thrill to see all of you there. I had forgotten so much that happened back then and it was wonderful hearing all your/our exploits. I have to admit that after 12 years of teaching and 40 years of time it all seems like a surreal collage of life exploding on me. I loved it!
I hope to see you all again next time around.

It truly was surreal. I had only seen one class member in 40 years until this event….thank you Anita, Brad, Mark, Libby, James, Penny, Cindy, Jorja, Deb and Ellen for making it happen. It was an amazing experience. Hope to see you all in Alaska some day or possibly at the next function. Stay in touch, Love you all. Daryl

Thank you Warren McNeely for being there. You were quite the rebel back then weren't you? Thankyou for being our teacher .... exposing us to things that maybe we weren't ready to grasp but you let us know it was there.
Thank you Pam Wise for including me in a field trip to see "2001, A Space Odysey" and discovering what a fantastic director Stanley Kubrick was.
Thank you to the committee for all the work and time you provided.
I appologize to my old friends who I recognized on the other side of the room but never caught up with.
And sorry Pam for any grammar or spelling mistakes in this note --- without spell and grammar check I'm only guessing sometimes.
Great seeing all of you!

HI We had a wonderful time at the reunion. Thanks to the committee for all the hard work in planning the event and a special thanks, Anita for putting this website together. I should have you do the website for my new art business!!. I regret that I was unsucessful in visiting with everyone. But enjoyed talking with many classmates and teachers, many who have inspired me. Hopefully we will meet again sooner than later. Regards. Phil

Like many of you, I also feel that I didn't get a chance to catch up with everyone I wanted to talk to. Maybe we should do this yearly? Why wait? Anyway, special thanks to Anita for this web-site. It will give us the ability to stay in contact. It really was an amazing evening.

Yes, I agree with you all...it was an amazing time tripping down memory lane like this. I also didn't talk to everyone I would have liked to, but if we do this again, I'd love to be there. Thank you so much to the wonderful people who orchestrated it all. You worked very hard and it showed!

Had a great time last night but what kind of party was this with no keg?? For those of you who do not know what a keg stand is you are showing your age. Ask your college aged kids. And we thought the 60s were wild and crazy.
